What is God’s plan of salvation?

To answer that, let us see what the bible says.

God loves us greatly.
John 3:16 (KJV)
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Sin separates us from Him.
Romans 6:23
23  For the wages of sin is death;..

But He offers us the gift of eternal life through Jesus.
Romans 6:23
.. the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How do we receive His gift?

By hearing the good news.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
..Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

By believing it
Romans 10:17
17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

By changing one’s mind –repenting
Acts 3:19 (KJV)
19  Repent.. and be converted, ..

Confessing Christ to be the Son of God.
Acts 8:37 (KJV)
..I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Then God through the bible let’s us know that baptism is necessary for salvation
1 Peter 3:21 (KJV)
21  The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Finally, we must live our lives in faithful and loyal service to our Lord Jesus Christ as God has directed (Revelations 2:10). We must find a congregation that believes and practices as the New Testament directs… following the Word of God… speaking where the Bible speaks, living by His Word and His Word alone. Trusting in God to save us as He has promised those who would be faithful to Him.

If you find yourself not in harmony with the Bible’s plan of salvation, you can change. You can make your life right with God. No matter how old you may be, it is not too late to make your life right by obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are sincerely desiring to serve the Lord, then He can certainly help you in your pursuit of righteousness. Was Jesus just another great teacher?

There are those that think Jesus was just another great teacher, a leader, a great Rabbi among men or just another religious leader among other religious leaders.
Jesus once asked his disciples a question.

Matthew 16:13
13  When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

They gave him and answer:

Matthew 16:14
14  And they said, Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Then Jesus asked them a deeper question.

Matthew 16:15
15  He said unto them, But whom do you say that I am?

Bold Simon Peter came forth with an answer:

Matthew 16:16
16  And Simon Peter answered and said, you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Now here’s a question for you and I, how do we know that Jesus is the Son of God,

How do we know that he stands, above and apart from any other person, teacher leader that ever walked the earth?

The evidence of AN EMPTY TOMB.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

There is a declaration of which we can be sure.

Romans 1:3-4
…Jesus Christ our Lord,..  declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

More than just a great teacher, Jesus the Christ our Lord is the Son  of God.

Oh the trouble, the tribulations of life!

Think for a moment: What are you dealing with in life right now?

Perhaps its pressures of work, information overload, no money in your pocket, family issues, legal issues, health issues, being mistreated, you name it!

Remember: Jesus knows what you’re going through and He cares for you.

Hebrews 4:15 (NKJV) “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

Because of that, God tells us we can come boldy unto His throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in times of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

In your troubles, Jesus has said in John 16:33 (NKJV) “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Remember: Your victory is in Jesus 🙂

Smooth 20/20 vision flying with brother Clarence Jenkins with tools for team preparation part 2.

John 20:30-31  30  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Then brother Eberle Michel raised us above turbulence with Building Faith in others.

Matthew 28:18-20 18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Bringing us in with a smooth landing was brother Robert Reid by taking the whole gospel to the whole world.
